What is Mindful Yoga?

Mindful Yoga is an evidence-based protocol specifically designed to be accessible and therapeutic for people living with chronic pain.

The 8 Week Mindful Yoga for Chronic Pain course is an intentional blend of ancient wisdom and modern pain science and includes a gentle movement practice as well as meditation, breathing exercises, yoga-based coping strategies, and the application of mindfulness to daily life.

Mindful Yoga was developed by James Carson, PhD, and Kimberly Carson, MPH, at the Comprehensive Pain Center at the Duke University Medical Center and has demonstrated significant clinical symptom improvement in clinical trials with various patient groups suffering from chronic pain.

Hi, I'm Molly.

I’m both humbled and honored to be a witness to your experience of living with chronic pain. My passion and purpose is to be your guide in using yoga and mindfulness to reconnect with ease and well being.

I have a Master’s degree in Education from Stanford University. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher, having completed two 200 hour yoga teacher training programs (Yoga Farm Ithaca in 2020 and Alaya Yoga School in 2023). My yoga education also includes a specialized Pelvic Floor Yoga teacher training.

In 2021, I completed a year-long meditation teacher training with Mindful Yoga Works, receiving certification to teach Mindful Yoga for Chronic Pain and Know Thyself Meditation.

 

Work With Me

The next 8-week Know Thyself Meditation course begins in October 2024. Registration is now open and space is limited.

Mindful Yoga for Chronic Pain and Yoga for Pelvic Floor Health are currently offered in a one on one format, allowing a more personalized experience. Please email to inquire.

I also offer a weekly, one hour, drop-in meditation group on Tuesdays from 6-7pm Pacific. Registration is via Patreon.
