Deux Chevaux Vintage European Linen Feedbags
One of the things we love most about Deux Chevaux is designer Cara Walinsky’s ability to show restraint in only bringing to market products that are unique and beautiful in quality. (You may recognize Deux Chevaux as the brand behind the modern art-inspired Ride belt and these beautiful hand painted leather bangles.)
For her first handbag collection, Cara sourced authentic vintage European linen grainsack, hand woven by farmers’ wives to carry grain from communal stores in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Finished with top quality pebbled leather and solid brass fittings, the 10-inch diameter bags are lined with sturdy canvas.
