Forget the Hollywood version, get the real story from the original diving horse rider herself. A Girl and Five Brave Horses is the autobiography of Sonora Carver, the daring young equestrian and “diving horse girl” of the Steel Pier, about whom the popular film “Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken” was based.
