Le Fash Modern Riding Shirts

Modern Riding Shirts from Le Fash

Combining her traditional hunter ring sensibilities with high fashion industry experience, Le Fash designer Arianna Anderocci has created a fashion-forward riding shirt that we predict will be the equestrian trend of 2012.

We’re not going to lie. We love these shirts. A garment that performs under the pressures of the sport and then does double duty as chic streetwear is the holy grail of equestrian fashion design, and Le Fash delivers.

Admittedly, Arianna, you had us at the plaid – a totally fresh and much-needed reprieve from other boring, ubiquitous show shirt patterns. Worn under a riding jacket (below), the visible areas of the Le Fash shirts are made of smooth, crisp Egyptian cotton, in a range of colorways from the beloved plaid to more standard stripes and solids.

A contrasting bamboo/spandex bodice and sleeves take advantage of the fiber’s flexibility and anti-microbial properties, as well as offering a slimming silhouette and a subtle illusion of tuxedo shirt style.

Tucked into skinny jodhpur jeans or suited up under your shadbelly, the look is luxe, relaxed, classic, and yet totally modern all at once.

A magnetic collar closure, for a clean look worn open or closed, and double button cuffs, for adjusting sleeve length and tightness, round out the thoughtful details packed into Le Fash’s design. Oh, and it’s machine washable.
