Visiting 20 equine rescue and sanctuary facilities throughout the US, Stromberg captured images of the abused and neglected horses he met and collected them in an album called “The Forgotten Horses – The Beauty of America’s Unwanted Horses.”
Beauty, it turns out, is found in the soul, not a shiny coat. With the unwanted horse issue reaching endemic proportions, Stromberg reminds us of the graceful nature of every horse and strengthens our resolve to reduce the suffering that plagues these noble souls.
