Such was the case with these darling monogrammed rubber boots from Zoubaby! Start with a pair of classic black rubber riding boots, then add initials (traditional or script font) in any thread color you desire. We think these would be just adorable for little ones but adult sizes are available too.

We did a little research and the the idea of using initials to form a symbol actually goes back as far as 350 BC – greek coins, christograms (featuring the letters of the name “Jesus Christ”), and insignias for monarchs were the earliest monograms. Now that’s retro!
