Secretariat Graces Time Magazine Cover Circa 1973
And now…for a little history lesson!
We can’t confirm for sure if this is the only time that a horse has graced the iconic cover of Time magazine, but we can say it is one heck of a stunning, goose-bump inducing portrait.
Reading the Time cover story “The Wow Horse Races Into History” from June 11, 1973 is a fun lead up up to seeing Disney’s major motion picture Secretariat. The movie opens today.
