Equestrian Nation Insignia Patches
Sometimes Dappled Grey finds something so special that we can hardly wait to share it with you! Such is the case with Equestrian Nation Insignia Patches… it’s been killing us to keep these to ourselves because we think they are SO COOL!
Designed by Melissa Luci, the Insignia Patches are intended to be a record of one’s accomplishments and adventures as a horseperson. We absolutely love everything about them, especially the meaningful metaphors and clever details found in the design. Most of all, it’s incredibly refreshing to find an inexpensive item that so beautifully conveys the simple, yet often overlooked, act of commemorating milestones and celebrating the pride of horsemanship.
Equestrian Nation currently offers four commemorative patches, as well as a logo insignia patch. Luci says the patches have been described as resembling “Juicy Couture with a brain” – nice! Our favorite is the collegiate-looking “Labor of Love” design (shown above). But, really, who can choose? They’re all fantastic in their own right.
Collect all the patches in the lovely keepsake box, give one to a friend who’s just met an important goal, or use them as prizes for your next schooling show. The Equestrian Nation lookbook offers a variety of ideas of how to apply the patches – from saddle pads to polos to dungarees. There’s also a number of other great items. The Dear Diary t-shirt features prose by Luci and is the softest we have ever worn – an instant favorite!
Luci tells us she has another design in the works so keep on the lookout from more equestrian inspiration from Equestrian Nation.
