There’s just something we love about the juxtaposition of the assertive Doc Marten styling – black leather, yellow stitching, PVC rubber outsole – with the refined lines of an equestrian boot.
With a soft leather upper, full length zipper closure, and 1 inch heel, the Zena makes for a practical yet “alternative” barn boot. And, although now an icon of counterculture, Docs do actually have a sporting history. The boots were first designed by German doctor Klaus Martens after he injured his ankle while skiing in the Bavarian Alps.
