The Pooch Paddock at the shows The Pooch Paddock We think dogs are one of the best things about horse shows and this start-up business has honed in on the need for a little doggie distraction during long days of horse showing. The Pooch Paddock is the first fully-mobile doggie daycare service for horse show hounds, offering highly trained staff and both play-group and private paddocks.

Founder Alison Kratish recognized the need for such a service when, while competing on the winter circuit, she noticed how many horse show dogs were tied to trunks, locked in stalls, or running loose in the barn and arena areas. The Pooch Paddock made its debut at the 2009 Jacksonville Winter Series and the Gulf Coast Winter Classics, to great success, and serviced 26 AA hunter/jumper shows during its first year.

A great service for both competitors and equestrian professionals, stop by and visit the Pooch Paddock at the Winter Equestrian Festival, December 18 – April 4, 2010.
