We always relish the arrival of the J. Peterman catalog, with its hand-drawn sketches and product descriptions that are charming enough to frame. And since we’ve been talking about forward-thinking riding coats this week, it seemed like a fitting time to share this ultra-traditional English Hacking Jacket.
Unlike it’s modern, technical fabric counterparts, this coat is pure-wool English tweed from a Yorkshire mill founded in 1837. It’s good to never lose sight of the classics, and this is one you could wear from the hacking trail to the county pub when you’re in the mood for a good old-fashioned country day.
